Are you looking to disrupt a stagnant industry with some cool technology? Want to work with some A-players who have real experience building a multi-million dollar business? Are you a rockstar engineer with a passion for the startup lifestyle? We’d love to tell you more about HigherMe – our recruiting platform is going to revolutionize the way retail and service employers find, screen, and higher their employees
We're the 2014 winners of the Babson B.E.T.A. Challenge, and have racked up nearly $100,000 in cash and in-kind prizes from our competition victories. We're also a finalist in the 2014 MassChallenge Program here in Boston, and look forward to opening our seed round later this year.
What we do
HigherMe helps retail & service employers find better employees faster. Our recruitment platform uses data and video to help managers find, screen, and hire prospective employees. Applicants record a 30-second video pitch to showcase their personality, and our analytics help screen the best candidates based on the specific criteria employers are looking for. Craigslist meets Youtube meets OkCupid.

Founding Team
We’re Rob and Evan – both in our late 20’s. We met while completing our MBA’s at Babson College, and even managed to live together for two years.
Rob has an undergrad in business, and has sold $6 Million of ice cream in his past life as a franchisee – he used to own 7 ice cream stores, and experienced the frustrations of retail hiring firsthand. Rob’s a serial entrepreneur – he had an e-commerce site in high school that sold mixed martial arts DVD’s, invested in and sold real estate for years, and worked extensively as a GMAT & accounting tutor.
Evan’s got a background in product management and sales engineering for companies like MotorTrend.com, and earned his degree in computer science from Wesleyan University. He gets up at crazy hours of the morning as a dedicated November Project athlete, and is an experienced marathon runner. He also has been a nationally ranked squash player for most of his life.
