What you'll do:

As a Bow & Drape Design Intern, you are will be working directly with CEO/Founder/Creative Director, Aubrie Pagano, Chief Operating Officer, Shelly Madick and Designer Julianna Bass. This is a great opportunity to join a fast growing, entrepreneurial fashion start up.

Roles and responsibilities include:
- Sourcing new fabrics, arranging story & color boards, and producing line sheets.
- Help maintain product development, sourcing and manufacturing contacts within the Garment District
- Aid and potentially run factory visits, QA sessions and invoicing
- Own ad hoc requests for various operational needs (e.g., small errands to vendors, drop off / pick up, material coordination, etc.)
- Fashion trend research and reporting.

Who you are:
- Passionate about allowing women to truly own their own style
- Based in New York City
- Fashion Design major, degree, or industry experience.
- Knowledge of fabrications is a must.
- Strong eye and taste for future trends, styling, and interest in fashion.
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and dig into the work.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness.
- Excellent communicator with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- A laid back and approachable demeanor.
- Hard working, diligent, and eager to learn.

Other details:

While we ask that you commit a minimum of 12-15 hours/week, we’ll happily work around your school schedule.
