The Role:

As our company continues to expand, we need an experienced and energetic Inbound/Outbound Marketing Manager. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Demand Generation, this manager will be responsible for the inbound and outbound demand and lead generation campaigns with a focus on crafting and executing programs, then tracking and reporting on the results of the programs. The main objectives of this role are to generate an incremental pipeline for existing and new products and services and to leverage tactical messaging to influence the marketplace, capture customers and prospects, and generate, nurture and convert the pipeline.

Responsibilities:

- In partnership with the Director, Marketing and Demand Generation, research and develop a comprehensive Demand Generation Strategy and Plan that includes the use of both inbound and outbound tactics for short and long-term profitable growth; develop the campaigns, execution steps, content requirements, reporting templates, and supporting systems management.
- Create and develop inbound and outbound demand and lead generation activities, conversion programs, and marketing campaigns that provide measurable improvement for top-line and bottom-line growth and meet/exceed goals.
- Create and develop integrated inbound and outbound lead generation and nurture programs that deliver needed pipeline.
- Strategically integrate and leverage inbound and outbound demand generation tactics and tools, including email, direct mail, PR, advertising, webinars, events, social media, and search engine marketing.
- Create and develop integrated programs and campaigns in alignment with new product launches, existing product cross-sells, and new market development.
- Leverage inbound and outbound demand generation tools and resources for campaigns, programs, and reporting purposes. Explore potential use of outside agencies to support needs.
- Ensure Sales has all needed tools/material to drive pipeline to close.
- Communicate and collaborate with product and content marketing, sales, account management and other stakeholders.
- Support overall company branding and awareness as part of the overall marketing initiatives and lead generation programs.
- Actively solicit input from key stakeholders regarding new Demand Generation and campaign plan requirements.
- In partnership with the Director, Marketing and Demand Generation, build the overall strategy for utilizing the right marketing tactics in a combined and integrated manner.
- Provide support for external events, including trade shows, conferences, etc.
- Aggressively review and stay abreast of market trends through all available resources, including trade publications, direct customer contact, participation in industry conferences/expos/trade shows, etc.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree preferred
- 5 – 10 years of inbound and outbound demand generation marketing experience (primarily digital); start-up experience preferred with primary focus on B2B, tech and SaaS
- Previous responsibility for design, execution and optimization of revenue generating marketing campaigns (acquisition, nurture and retention) across all channels
- Interest/desire to learn and adopt new marketing strategies and tactics
- Process-focused and collaborative
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence others without formal authority
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing a team of 2+ as well as vendor resources
- Keen understanding of sales and marketing automation such as Salesforce.com, Marketo and HubSpot
- ROI driven with experience building out marketing reporting/analytics framework
- Demonstrated ability to juggle short-term needs with overall strategy
- Excellent project-management and problem-solving skills
