Marketing & Communications Intern

Job Description

The Marketing and Communications Intern will join an award-winning startup developing wearable products for healthcare. The Intern will be responsible for outward communication and marketing, including the creation of newsletters, social media and assisting with grant funding applications and presentations. Subject to performance, the role has the opportunity to grow into a senior communications role for the right candidate in line with company growth.

Specific tasks include:
- Web and social media management.
- Newsletter creation and management.
- Market research as required.
- Participating during testing of hardware products.
- Possible logistical management leading up to patient testing.
- Follow-up communication after events and/or exhibitions.
- Administrative - helping with contact management etc.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as and when required.

Desired Skills

- Marketing, language or business related degree or equivalent experience (essential).
- Strong communication and organisational skills and attention to detail (essential).
- Native-level English, both spoken and written (essential).
- Ability to work independently, with good organisational skills and the ability to follow guidelines and meet deadlines (essential).
- Good proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign (desired).
- Flexible, determined and results-oriented.

About the Company

Walk With Path (Path) is an award winning startup developing products for the healthcare market, but are looking to branch into other fields at a later stage. We are looking for an intern to join us as soon as possible, to perform Marketing and Communications efforts. The role is outward focused, and key to our customer and user engagement activities.
Due to the nature of being in a startup, we are looking for a highly motivated candidate with broad skills and interests, who is able to juggle several tasks simultaneously.
