Hours: 20-30 hours per week, 4 days/week

Position Overview
VocaliD is a speech-tech mission-driven start-up in the heart of Belmont center! We are seeking a dynamic, organized and dedicated part-time project manager for our marketing and administration.

The VocaliD technology creates personalized voices. Our recipients are children and adults who rely on text-to-speech technology due to speech impairments caused by ALS, Cerebral Palsy, throat cancer, etc. You will be directly involved in social media campaigns to fund voice scholarships and bring this technology to market.

To help our cause, we need a detail-oriented, well-organized problem solver with excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience with social media and email-marketing campaigns as well as client relation management software is required. Bookkeeping and additional management experience would be an asset.

As a start-up, you need to be willing to roll up your sleeves to do whatever it takes to make our mission a reality. Some days you may be running our Indiegogo campaign, dealing with administrative tasks, entering items into QuickBooks, and coordinating with our VoiceBank Drive volunteers. This is an opportunity for someone who is passionate about the power of voice and communication and who wants to share this with the world!

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinating and supporting a software engineering team
• Creating marketing copy and written materials for online and print
• Providing administrative support to staff
• Managing a large customer database using CRM software
• Engaging in social media communication
• Conducting market research
• Bookkeeping using QuickBooks
• Assisting with fund-raising and grant preparation

Qualifications:
• Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office software, Quickbooks, CRM software, etc)
• Excellent organizational skills – prioritize and stay focused
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
• A self-starter who anticipates needs, works well independently and as part of a small team
• Positive attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills
