MassChallenge Boston Unveils Top 26 Startups

The top 26 will now move onto the final judging round, where they’ll have the opportunity to win shares of more than $1 million in zero-equity grants. In addition, CASIS and Boeing will award $500,000 to fund research projects on the International Space Station. Winners will be announced at the MassChallenge Awards on November 2nd at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

Applications Open Today for First Bridge to MassChallenge Australia

Bridge to MassChallenge Australia will provide training and privileged access to the MassChallenge global network for entrepreneurs and key stakeholders throughout Australia. Together with six founding partners including The Commonwealth of Australia, the Government of Victoria, the Government of South Australia, the Government of New South Wales, Microsoft, and Monash University, Bridge to MassChallenge will also work with local partners to support Australian entrepreneurs with no strings attached. 

The State of Startup/Corporate Collaboration 2016 Study Results Unveiled

The study was the first to interview both startups and corporations on their views about their interactions. The firms surveyed 233 startups and 112 corporate respondents from March 30th to April 24th, 2016. Corporate respondents included Microsoft, Pfizer, KLM, Cisco, Xerox, and IBM, among many other leading companies.

MassChallenge Fosters Startup and Partner Engagement Through Boston Scholarship Program

Selected from more than 90 applications, this year’s recipients received between $5,000 - $10,000 in grant funding to help support innovation throughout their participation in the four-month MassChallenge Boston accelerator program, which provides entrepreneurs with access to resources, programming, and mentorship for zero-equity. In total, partners awarded $135,000 in scholarship funding to 23 startups that are participating in this year’s program.

Microsoft and MassChallenge Announce Bridge to MassChallenge Australia

Bridge to MassChallenge Australia will include a nationwide startup competition to identify the highest-impact and highest-potential startups in the country. The top startups will receive intensive mentorship and training at boot camps in Australia. Next, Australian and international judges will select the top startups from the boot camps to participate in a further bespoke boot camp at one of the five MassChallenge accelerator locations around the world, which include Boston, the United Kingdom, Israel, Switzerland, and Mexico.
