Scholarships for Startups

With no cash resources, entrepreneurs must resort to building prototypes in their garages, academic research labs, co-working spaces, or even their kitchen tables. We mean it when we say "startup-friendly" and we want to make sure there are no barriers such as housing or filing a provisional patent for entrepreneurs to access the full potential of the resources we provide.

Every year, we team up with several amazing corporations to a provide a scholarships program which provides small, foundational capital injections into a number of incoming Boston finalists for travel, rent, food, and pilots. The organizations providing the small grants are able to select the applicants from a deep pool according to their areas of interest.

By providing scholarships to MassChallenge finalists, organizations will:

  • Attend invite-only events for scholarship sponsors and recipients.
  • Become MassChallenge’s top priority for promoting application season to startups of interest
  • Develop unparalleled relationships with entrepreneurs through office hours, meetings, and discussions throughout the program.
  • Assist MassChallenge’s startups in funding their most important immediate initiatives during the accelerator program.
