Cynthia Bouthot is the Director of Commercial Innovation & Sponsored Programs at the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS), leading business professionals in utilizing space-based technology to transcend into life science, energy, chemicals, materials, clean tech and IT sectors. She is also a Founding Partner of the Russia Innovation Collaborative where she optimized strategies for penetrating new markets.

Previously, she was the President of the Collaborative Innovation Group that focused on the provision of tools and methodologies for businesses to bring their product to market and build their brand image. She was also the Consul & Head of Trade and Investment at the British Consulate-General, where she spearheaded the international business development team. With her broad experience in the public and private sectors, Cynthia is heavily involved in the discussion of innovation, commercialization and entrepreneurship.

Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management, and a Master’s degree in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University.
