Nutritional counseling prevents and effectively manages these chronic conditions. The use of registered dietitians leads to improved outcomes.

For example, a grad student could rent from empty-nesters for a reduced rate in exchange for cooking dinner once a week. The platform facilitates connections across generations and social networks through beautiful design, intuitive interfaces, and most importantly, our proprietary negotiation and relationship management tools.

Nerves injured by trauma or surgery, including amputation, often cannot be repaired. Nerve fibers attempt to reconnect to their former targets, but instead produce a tangled, swollen, and inflamed neuroma - a source of debilitating pain for 20-30% of the 1.7M existing amputees, and the 185k new cases/year. No standard of care exists to prevent neuroma formation or treat them. We have created NervLok, a patent-pending bioengineered device that is placed onto the cut nerve-end to prevent neuroma.

Because although Latino children represent 26% of children 5 and under, only 1% of entertainment properties are culturally relevant to them & we truly believe that kids need to know where they come from in order to be confident about where they are going.

Minus the Moo is a premium, lactose-free ice cream made from real dairy and all the same ingredients as regular ice cream. We use the lactase enzyme to break down the lactose and make our ice cream lactose-free! Two-thirds of the population suffers from lactose-intolerance to some degree and either has to sacrifice taste and texture by eating dairy alternatives or eat regular ice cream and suffer the consequences. No lactose-free ice cream has offered the same creaminess and quality, until now!

Girls Health Champions aims to train adolescent girls in these critical topics and cultivate peer educators who will become health leaders in their schools and communities.

CompuCog is a mental performance company focused on athletic mental preparation for football. Our software program, MentalRep, learns a football playbook just like a player or coach would and then uses that knowledge to create interactive virtual simulations of the game. Players are not only able to just watch but play the game off the field. On top of that, they receive coaching feedback from the system to help them improve. It provides off field personalized mental training to athletes.

In Ghana, cocoa is mainly sold and purchased through the government which decides what quota of funding is used to run initiatives to support farmers. This lack of farmers’ control in decision making has trapped some 1.6 million farmers in poverty. Cocoa360 decentralizes decision-making, thereby fast-tracking the impact of cocoa farming. We have pioneered the "cocoa-campus" model; a tuition-free girls' school and hospital which are sustained with proceeds from a community-run cocoa plantation

Implanted intravenous lines leave patients at risk for many complications such as infection, dislodgement, and skin breakdown. Managing the lines leads to stress, discomfort, and unnecessary costs for patients, caregivers, hospitals and payers.
Our garments decrease line dislodgement, lower per patient costs, and improve safety and quality of life for patients with implanted lines.

Akanocure is developing a group of novel bio-inspired anti-cancer next generation small molecules (SGSM) that would have the affinities and elicit the protein-protein interaction modulation of macromolecules while retaining the high tumor permeability of small molecules. SGSM are designed to be inexpensive to develop, avoid the side effects of chemotherapy, elicit response in most patients, suppress metastasis and relapse, and could be synergistic when combined with immunotherapies.

Y2Y provides opportunities for guests and volunteers to become the next generation’s leading advocates for youth-driven solutions to homelessness.

Sales of adult incontinence products are forecasted to increase to $2.7 billion by 2020, but current solutions are unreliable and wasteful. With a multilayered, moisture-wicking design, Wunder will absorb up to 20 ounces of liquid while looking and feeling like regular underwear – allowing women to live active lives without disruption.

Many refugees in the current crisis are highly skilled, having completed high school and some college before the crisis. However, due to legal restrictions, they can’t work and are likely to seek income in dangerous illegal markets or possibly re-enter the conflict. WorkAround provides transitional employment to high-risk youth by connecting them with online microtasking opportunities that don’t require a work visa and offer payment alternatives to traditional banking that many lack access to.

A user would simply place the medication in question onto our chemically pre-treated paper then place the paper in some water.
