Y2Y is building a network of student run homeless shelters for young adults ages 18-24. Young adults are uniquely vulnerable on the streets due to high rates of LGBTQ identity and experience in foster care. Y2Y provides sanctuary to move guests quickly off the streets, surrounding them with resources to facilitate their pathways out of homelessness. Y2Y provides opportunities for guests and volunteers to become the next generation’s leading advocates for youth-driven solutions to homelessness.

Wunder is a reusable underwear for women with urinary incontinence, an issue impacting quality of life of women of all ages, but especially the 65+ population. Sales of adult incontinence products are forecasted to increase to $2.7 billion by 2020, but current solutions are unreliable and wasteful. With a multilayered, moisture-wicking design, Wunder will absorb up to 20 ounces of liquid while looking and feeling like regular underwear – allowing women to live active lives without disruption.

Many refugees in the current crisis are highly skilled, having completed high school and some college before the crisis. However, due to legal restrictions, they can’t work and are likely to seek income in dangerous illegal markets or possibly re-enter the conflict. WorkAround provides transitional employment to high-risk youth by connecting them with online microtasking opportunities that don’t require a work visa and offer payment alternatives to traditional banking that many lack access to.

Augmented reality has incredible potential for businesses, but the barrier to create enterprise apps is still very high. If a business wants to use AR today, they have to hire expensive AR developers who then use tools designed for developing video games, not enterprise apps, to create custom one-off applications. We are building a platform and tools that will allow any business to easily and securely create, edit, and deploy AR to their workers without needing AR developers or expertise.

According to the Word Health Organization up to 50% of medications worldwide are substandard or counterfeit. Veripad has created an affordable and portable solution that allows for rapid screening of medication quality. A user would simply place the medication in question onto our chemically pre-treated paper then place the paper in some water. The water then mixes the reagents with the medication to create a unique color pattern which our mobile app interprets.

For millennia farmers have done this using a combination of fencing and manual labor. We enhance our customers profits and quality of life.

UrSure Inc. aims to prevent HIV by driving adherence to the drug, PrEP. If taken daily, PrEP is 99% effective at preventing HIV infections in non-infected individuals. Nationwide, PrEP adherence is estimated between 20 and 50%, but UrSure Inc. has driven adherence to over 80% in its HIV prevention clinic in Philadelphia through its urine tests. UrSure’s urine tests are noninvasive and painless, cheaper, more accurate, and have a faster turnaround time than alternative PrEP tests, which are limit

47% of all dogs over the age of 10 will die from cancer. With current treatment options expensive and potentially leading to negative side effects, Torigen is focused on commercializing, VetiVax, a novel, personalized immunotherapy that uses the animals’ own tumor cells to fight the cancer.

Using a surgically excised portion of tumor tissue, we create a series of treatments that are given back to the animal to help stimulate their immune system to fight cancer, safely and inexpensively.

Striga, a parasitic weed, is the greatest pest threat in African food security - rampant in 18 countries and reducing farmer's staple crop yields by 20-100%. Because 85% of smallholder farmers are women, Striga is a gender-based food security issue. FoxyT14, an innovative biocontrol technology, uses 3 strains of host-specific fungus to kill Striga. Grown on toothpicks, FoxyT14 strains are inexpensively delivered to farmers to make a highly effective on-farm inoculum (50% yield increase).

LingoFit is an AI CoPilot using Machine Vision and biosensor data to prevent accidents caused by impaired driving due to distraction, fatigue, stress, drowsiness or medical conditions. LingoFit combines head pose and eye gaze tracking with wearable biosensor technology to provide the driver with real time warnings of potentially dangerous conditions.

Chronic leg wounds affect approximately 1 million people in the United States annually. Treatment consists of moist wound care, compression dressing, encouragement of the patient to walk and elevate the wounded leg when sitting. Healing a chronic leg wound is a long process taking six months and requiring 25 to 50 dressing changes. We have built a working prototype wearable device that monitors patient compliance and wound dressing status during the time between dressing changes.

We remove barriers such as stigma, cost, and accessibility for patients, by allowing them to reach out on our app under a pseudonym from anywhere, at any time. Providers can scale to this demand with our advanced AI tools that automatically track patients and detect complications early, dramatically reducing costs.

They also are "Sleep vending machines" in airports. Sleepbox has an attractive design, is easy to install, needs only 25 sq.ft. and has cool features to help relax or focus.

Skyven's distributed solution for process heat enables developing nations to leapfrog natural gas distribution infrastructure. We reduce cost and improve availability of process heat for commercial and industrial customers (e.g. food processing plants). Our proprietary Intelligent Mirror Array (IMA) technology harvests high-temperature heat from the sun, displacing expensive petroleum fuel in customers’ boilers.
